John Grady is a lifetime resident of Delaware with roots in Kent and New Castle County. He and his wife, Veronica, have six children. John Grady is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and Georgetown University Law Center. He worked for Community Legal Aid for several years after law school and since then, has been in private practice.
Personal injury, negligence, disability and discrimination cases have represented the bulk of the cases that Mr. Grady has taken before the state and federal courts in Delaware during his years in practice. His clients have been injured by auto accidents, electrical accidents, airplane accidents, and dog bites. Some clients have needed help in contract disputes, insurance disputes or with obtaining Social Security disability benefits. Mr. Grady has also drafted wills, probated estates, conducted real estate transactions and provided representation to small businesses.
Mr. Grady is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past member of the Governing Board of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, the Preliminary Review Committee of the Delaware Board of Professional Responsibility, and the Board of Community Legal Aid Society.
Stephen Hampton graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and received his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law. He moved to Delaware in 1986 and began working with John Grady. He has continued in the private practice of law with Mr. Grady since he came to Delaware. He and his wife, Shelly, have three children, and are active members of Grace Church.
Mr. Hampton has represented many people in a variety of negligence, disability, civil rights and fraud cases. These cases have been before state and federal courts and have involved people who have been injured by the negligence of doctors, harmed in nursing homes, injured in slip and fall cases, bitten by dogs, and who have been victims of medical negligence and violence in the prison system. Mr. Hampton has also helped people who needed wills or help probating an estate.
Mr. Hampton is a member of the American Association of Justice and the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on the governing board of the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association and on the Board of Directors of the Community Legal Aid Society.
